About the Role

We are seeking a TA Engineer/DBA to support the design, administration, and continuous operation of enterprise applications and database environments. This role plays a critical part in maintaining system reliability, availability, and performance across multiple platforms, contributing directly to business continuity and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • ● Manage and support multiple application platforms, ensuring stable operations, patching, and issue resolution
  • ● Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical input on integration points such as web services, messaging queues, SFTP, and databases
  • ● Implement and maintain operational processes including OS patching, application patching, backup, recovery, and housekeeping activities
  • ● Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and fault-tolerant configurations
  • ● Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and service disruption
  • ● Administer and maintain Oracle and/or MS SQL databases, ensuring performance optimization and data integrity
  • ● Support security compliance by implementing system hardening and vulnerability remediation practices
  • ● Provide operational support when required, including responding to incidents outside business hours
  • ● Required Qualifications
  • ● Minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle 19c database administration
  • ● Strong foundational knowledge in networking and server administration (Windows and Unix/Linux)
  • ● Understanding of enterprise 3-tier application architecture
  • ● Hands-on experience in database administration (Oracle and/or MS SQL)
  • ● Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across application and infrastructure layers

Requirements

  • ● Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes
  • ● Knowledge of web application architecture from front-end to backend systems
  • ● Exposure to virtualization, containerization, and cloud infrastructure concepts
  • ● Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate (OGG), Oracle AWR reports, and Oracle RAC setup
