Responsibilities

  • ● You will be a key quality owner for SAP S/4HANA Product Compliance - one of
  • ● SAP's most regulation-driven solution areas, helping companies worldwide manage
  • ● dangerous goods and chemical compliance at scale.
  • ● In this role you will:
  • ● Own test strategy end-to-end - translate software requirements and specs into
  • ● structured, risk-based test strategies and concrete test cases that the team
  • ● can execute consistently
  • ● Lead and guide - coach and support fellow engineers and developers in
  • ● executing tests based on defined test cases; be the quality bar others orient
  • ● Automate what matters - design and implement automated test suites for
  • ● regression, integration, and scenario coverage using modern tooling (ABAP
  • ● Unit, OPA5/SAPUI5 test frameworks, or comparable)
  • ● Explore and break things - conduct deep exploratory and functional testing of
  • ● S/4HANA Product Compliance features before they reach customers
  • ● Champion quality from day one - embed testing thinking early in the
  • ● development lifecycle, reviewing requirements and designs for testability
  • ● Track and communicate quality - maintain test documentation, report defect
  • ● trends, and surface risks clearly to the team and stakeholders
  • ● What you bring
  • ● + years of professional software quality engineering experience

Requirements

  • ● A systematic, detail-oriented mindset paired with the curiosity of a good bug
  • ● Ability to explain quality concepts clearly and guide colleagues through test
  • ● Comfortable working in an Agile environment with regular releases
  • ● Nice to have:
  • ● Familiarity with product compliance regulations (GHS/CLP, REACH, dangerous
  • ● goods transport - ADR/RID/IATA)
  • ● Prior work experience in the chemical or process industry
  • ● BTP-based testing, or equivalent)
