Job Summary The Chief Accountant manages the accounting functions within an organization, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. They are responsible for supervising the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Additionally, the Chief Accountant plays a key role in developing and implementing accounting policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks. They also manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance with audit requirements and regulatory standards.
