  • The Control Tower Manager is responsible for expediting and coordinating the procurement and timely delivery of goods and services to meet requirements, operational needs and purchase order (PO) terms and conditions. Oversees the procurement process from PO release to PO readiness and coordinates logistics activities through to final delivery, including Hellmann-controlled physical shipments where applicable, ensuring on-time, compliance, and efficient execution.

  • Lead and supervise the expediting team, ensuring effective workload allocation based on PO priority and criticality.
  • Review daily SAP purchase order (PO) reports, assess urgency, and assign work accordingly.
  • Personally manage critical, high-priority, and time-sensitive orders.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure timely updates of PO status in SAP and reporting tools.
  • Maintain full visibility of the PO dashboard and provide accurate status updates to stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance expediting processes and supplier performance.
  • Prepare supplier performance reviews and periodic management reports
  • Expedite local and international Purchase Orders to ensure timely delivery in support of operations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to monitor order progress and resolve delivery issues.
  • Identify risks, implement recovery plans, and escalate delays in accordance with procedures.
  • Provide timely progress reports to Procurement, End Users, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure real-time ERP updates for all PO milestones and shipment activities.
  • Act as the primary liaison between suppliers, procurement, end users, warehouse, finance, and logistics teams.
  • Resolve supplier performance issues, delivery delays, payment-related concerns, and material discrepancies.
  • Support supplier performance evaluations and prepare vendor performance reports.
