• ● The Carpenter is responsible for carrying out carpentry repairs, maintenance, and installation work throughout the hotel. This role ensures that all wooden fixtures, furniture, doors, cabinets, and related structures are maintained in excellent condition to support a safe, functional, and high-quality guest experience.
• ● Perform preventive and corrective carpentry maintenance throughout the hotel.
• ● Repair and maintain doors, windows, furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other wooden fixtures.
• ● Install, assemble, and modify wooden structures and fittings as required.
• ● Inspect hotel facilities and identify carpentry maintenance requirements.
• ● Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete assigned work orders.
• ● Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
• ● Ensure all carpentry work meets hotel quality standards and safety regulations.
• ● Maintain tools, equipment, and the workshop in clean and safe working condition.
• ● Coordinate with other Engineering team members during renovation and maintenance projects.
• ● Report material requirements and assist in maintaining spare parts and inventory.
• ● Follow hotel policies, engineering procedures, and health & safety regulations.
• ● Perform any other duties assigned by the Engineering management.
• ● High school diploma or vocational/trade certificate in Carpentry or a related field.
• ● Minimum of 2 years of carpentry experience, preferably in a hotel, resort, or commercial facility.
• ● Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools accurately.
• ● Good knowledge of carpentry tools, equipment, and woodworking techniques.
