Job Title: Lead Project Engineer - Offshore Island Project KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is currently looking to fill a position of Lead Project Engineer for an Offshore Island Projectto be based in UAE ( Abu Dhabi) as soon as the administrative processes are completed, will then relocate to Spain Office and then return to Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities
- ● Job Purpose
- ● The Lead Project Engineer is responsible for managing and coordinating all engineering activities during the Execute phase of offshore oil & gas projects. The role ensures that project deliverables are completed in line with technical requirements, schedule, cost targets, and Client standards, while maintaining effective communication between multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

- ● Project Coordination & Engineering Management
- ● Coordinate and oversee multi-disciplinary engineering activities during the execute phase.
- ● Ensure all engineering deliverables are aligned with project scope, schedule, and quality requirements.
- ● Act as a focal point between engineering disciplines, project management, and contractors.
- ● Support Project Manager in achieving overall project objectives.
- ● FEED Deliverables Management
- ● Monitor progress and quality of project deliverables across all disciplines (process, piping, structural, electrical, instrumentation, HSE).
- ● Ensure deliverables meet Client standards, client specifications, and international codes.
- ● Review key engineering documents, design philosophies, and technical reports.
- ● Track deliverable status and ensure timely submission.
- ● PMC Oversight / Contractor Management
- ● Review and coordinate EPC contractor engineering activities and deliverables.
- ● Ensure contractors comply with project requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
- ● Participate in technical bid evaluations and vendor assessments.
- ● Identify and resolve technical issues and interface challenges.
- ● Schedule, Cost & Progress Monitoring
- ● Work closely with planning and project controls teams to track engineering progress.
Requirements
- ● Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or equivalent)
- ● Master's degree is an advantage
- ● Minimum Overall 18+ years of experience in the oil and gas sector.
- ● Minimum 5-7 years in offshore Execute / detailed engineering projects.
- ● -15+ years of experience in oil & gas project engineering
- ● Prior experience in PMC / ADNOC Offshore projects is highly preferred
