Responsibilities

  • As a SAP BW/4HANA Developer, you will:
  • Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW/BW on HANA data models, data flows, and reporting solutions.
  • Build and enhance BW objects using BW Workbench and follow LSA (Layered Scalable Architecture) best practices.
  • Develop and optimize ETL processes, including InfoSources, Transformations, DTPs, Start Routines, End Routines, and Field Routines.
  • Work extensively with SAP Finance and other SAP module data sources to deliver reliable analytical solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot BW process chains, data loads, and production issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and maintain BusinessObjects Web Intelligence (WebI) reports and dashboards from scratch.
  • Utilize Analysis Process Designer (APD) to support advanced data processing requirements.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BW and BusinessObjects solutions.
  • Support end-to-end project delivery, from requirements analysis and development through testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks within BW processes and data flows.
  • Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality data and reporting solutions.
  • What You Bring to the Table:
  • -8 years of experience in SAP BW/BW on HANA development and support.
  • Strong expertise in SAP BW Workbench and BW architecture concepts.
  • Deep understanding of LSA (Layered Scalable Architecture) principles and BW best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Process Chains, monitoring, and production support activities.
  • Solid ABAP development and debugging skills, including datasource enhancements and custom BW routines.
  • Good knowledge of Analysis Process Designer (APD).
  • Strong experience creating and maintaining BusinessObjects Web Intelligence (WebI) reports.
