About the Company

Job DescriptionOverview The Cost Control Manager will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and controlling project costs throughout the lifecycle of the Projects. The role will support project management in maintaining budget compliance, cost forecasting accuracy, financial reporting, and effective commercial decision-making. Your role Cost Planning & Budget Management - Develop, maintain, and monitor project budgets and cost control systems. - Establish cost breakdown structures (CBS) aligned with project work packages and contract requirements. - Track project expenditures against approved budgets and identify cost variances. - Support the preparation of baseline budgets for bridge and infrastructure construction activities. - Monitor commitments, actual expenditures, and forecasted costs throughout the project lifecycle. Cost Forecasting & Reporting - Prepare detailed cost forecasts and cash flow projections. - Perform monthly cost reviews and analyze project cost performance. - Identify potential cost overruns and recommend mitigation measures. - Prepare periodic cost reports, dashboards, and executive summaries. - Ensure accurate forecasting of final project costs and estimate-at-completion (EAC) values. - Earned Value Management (EVM) - Implement and maintain Earned Value Management (EVM) processes. - Analyze project trends and provide recommendations for corrective actions. - Support management decision-making through performance analysis.

Requirements

  • ● Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Cost Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • ● Master's Degree in Project Management, Cost Engineering, or Construction Management is an advantage.
  • ● Minimum 8-12 years of experience in cost control and project controls within major construction projects.
  • ● Minimum 5 years of experience on bridge and transportation infrastructure projects.
  • ● GCC or Saudi Arabia project experience is highly desirable.
