Responsibilities

  • ● Lead the implementation and enhancement of finance systems and reporting tools.
  • ● Drive process automation and digitisation across the finance function.
  • ● Develop finance data governance, reporting standards, and management information capabilities.
  • ● Manage finance transformation projects, including requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and user adoption.
  • ● Partner with Technology and external vendors on system integrations and finance architecture.
  • ● Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
  • ● Develop financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses to support management decisions.
  • ● Monitor business performance and provide insights on revenue, costs, profitability, and key KPIs.
  • ● Oversee accurate and timely management reporting.
  • ● Support statutory financial reporting and audit processes.
  • ● Support regulatory reporting requirements and financial submissions.
  • ● Prepare Board, Executive Committee, and shareholder reporting materials.
  • ● Assist in capital adequacy monitoring, liquidity management, and financial governance activities.
  • ● Partner with business leaders to evaluate strategic initiatives, product launches, operating model changes, and investment opportunities.
  • ● Provide financial insight and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
  • ● Support execution of FAB AM's strategic plan and transformation agenda.

Requirements

  • ● Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • ● 8-12+ years of experience within Finance, Finance Transformation, Financial Systems, FP&A, or Financial Control functions within asset management, banking, wealth management, or broader financial services.
  • ● Proven experience leading finance systems implementations and transformation programmes, including ERP, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and data management solutions.
  • ● Strong experience in Financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
  • ● Strong experience in Management reporting and Board reporting.
  • ● Strong experience in Regulatory reporting and governance.
  • ● Strong experience in Financial controls and process improvement.
  • ● Strong experience in Finance operating model design.
  • ● Strong experience in Data analytics and management information.
  • ● Experience managing cross-functional projects involving Finance, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and external vendors.
  • ● Demonstrated track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • ● Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
  • ● Strong understanding of Budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
  • ● Strong understanding of Regulatory reporting and capital adequacy frameworks.
  • ● Strong understanding of Financial controls and governance.
  • ● Strong understanding of Finance data management and reporting architecture.
  • ● Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • ● Ability to translate business requirements into practical finance and technology solutions.
