Responsibilities

  • ● U Value Insulation is an established international company, with over 40 years' experience offering the building industry vast product choice combined with in-depth technical expertise.   • ● Reports to: Group Financial Controller / Senior Management Team
  • ● Act as the primary point of contact for IT support, resolving hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
  • ● Manage and maintain IT infrastructure across six sites, including servers, networks, cloud services, backups, and security systems.
  • ● Own and support the company ERP system, coordinating issue resolution, upgrades, integrations, and ongoing optimisation.
  • ● Administer Microsoft 365, user accounts, licensing, security settings, access controls, and compliance requirements.
  • ● Manage IT suppliers, service contracts, telecommunications, software licensing, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity providers.
  • ● Maintain IT asset registers, equipment lifecycle management, procurement, deployment, and stock control.
  • ● Implement and promote cybersecurity best practices, including endpoint protection, MFA, user awareness training, GDPR compliance, and access management.
  • ● Lead technology projects, system upgrades, business improvements, acquisitions, infrastructure enhancements, and site integrations.
  • ● + years' experience in IT management, systems administration, or senior IT support.
  • ● Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, cloud technologies, telecommunications, and cybersecurity.
  • ● Excellent troubleshooting, organisational, and communication skills.
  • ● Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and travel between Ireland and UK sites.
  • ● Full driving licence.
  • ● ERP implementation or upgrade experience.
  • ● Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, ITIL, Cybersecurity).
