Senior Backend Engineer - Content Protection

ou will help our customers identify and mitigate licensing liabilities, proactively identifying and mitigating licensing risks, ensuring our licensing promise remains bulletproof. By identifying and resolving licensing risks across every social channel, you will give top global brands absolute confidence and control over their music usage. You will be joining a highly collaborative, cross-functional engineering team, working closely with Data and Machine Learning functions, as well as our legal and business operations teams, to ensure we have the precise data needed to enforce rights. Your key responsibilities include: - End-to-End Ownership: Architect, build, and maintain the critical infrastructure and monitoring alerts for our content protection and rights enforcement services. - User Generated Content Monitoring & Optimization: Build high-throughput services that continuously fetch, parse, and analyze massive volumes of usage data from platforms like YouTube to monitor compliance. - Data Analysis & Autonomous Improvement: The pipeline we're building is complex and still evolving, and we expect you in the data itself - querying it, spotting where signals are weak or cases are being missed, and deciding what to do about it. You'll pick up problems no one has scoped yet, make the case for the fix, and ship it. - Cross-Functional Defense: Collaborate with ML engineers to develop advanced detection models and arm business operations with actionable data.
