About the Role
We are looking for backend engineers to build the core systems behind BJAK's AI Finance Agent. This role is for engineers who can build reliable APIs, workflows and financial product infrastructure that can scale across markets, partners and millions of users.
Responsibilities
- ● Build the system that connects to multiple insurance providers and requests quotes from all of them at once
- ● Design how those quotes get compared fairly and ranked for the customer
- ● Build the customer database and the secure audit trail required
- ● Set up cloud hosting, CI/CD pipeline, observability and security
Requirements
- ● Strong backend development in Node.js / TypeScript is required
- ● Experience in relational database or non relational database is required
- ● Experience integrating with third-party APIs is required
- ● Experience with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines is required
- ● Comfortable working with sensitive customer data and security best practices is required
- ● Experience in fintech, insurtech, or another regulated industry is a strong nice-to-have
- ● Experience building a plugin or adapter style system that needs to support many different external integrations over time is a strong nice-to-have
- ● Experience with Redis or similar for session/cache management is a strong nice-to-have
