General Ledger Executive

General Accounting (Mandarin - Support China) x 1 Financial Reporting & Closing: Manage monthly trial balance packages, analyze balance fluctuations, lead review calls with local controllers, and meet strict closing deadlines. Reconciliations & Quality Reviews: Prepare, review, and approve account reconciliations (including BPO work), resolve discrepancies, conduct sample audits, and drive process improvements. Journal Vouchers & SOX Controls: Review and approve journal entries with valid business rationale, and ensure strict adherence to SOX and operational internal controls. Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve SAP accounting errors, reconciliation gaps, and intercompany imbalances. Governance & Projects: Lead affiliate governance calls, maintain up-to-date procedures, and support SAP testing, BPO integration, and process improvement projects. Statutory Reporting/Financial Reporting x 1 Statutory Reporting (Workiva): Prepare, review, and submit financial statements under local GAAP/IFRS. Manage the entire Workiva reporting workflow (templates, mappings, and data integrity), coordinate data collection with local finance teams and auditors, and support APAC (with flexibility to cover EMEA when needed). Finance Projects & Transformation: Support global projects, process standardization, automation, and data quality improvements related to Record-to-Report (AtR) and Workiva enhancements. External Audit Support: Handle external audit requests, coordinate with local stakeholders to gather information, and track audit findings and recommendations. Job Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA) preferred.
