About the Company

Identity is at the heart of modern cyber security. Help us engineer it well. We are looking for a Cyber Security Identity Engineer to join Avant's Security Engineering team and help build, automate and continuously improve identity controls across our cloud, SaaS and on-premises environments. This isn't a routine access administration role. You'll work hands-on across the identity lifecycle, engineering solutions that strengthen security, reduce manual effort and help our technology and business teams move securely.

Responsibilities

  • ● Engineer IAM capabilities across IGA, PAM, authentication and access provisioning
  • ● Build and improve joiner, mover and leaver processes
  • ● Deliver access certification, role and entitlement management and least-privilege controls
  • ● Configure MFA, Conditional Access, SSO and federation
  • ● Onboard applications into identity governance and privileged access platforms
  • ● Automate identity processes using scripting, APIs and workflow technologies
  • ● Apply DevOps-style approaches to make identity engineering more repeatable and scalable
  • ● Help remediate excessive access, orphaned accounts, standing privilege and segregation of duties issues
  • ● Work with Security, Technology, Architecture and business teams to embed identity controls into technology change
  • ● Hands-on identity or security engineering experience and strong knowledge across areas such as IGA, PAM, JML, RBAC, access certification, authentication, SSO and directory services.
  • ● Experience with SailPoint, BeyondTrust, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Okta or CyberArk is beneficial, but it's your identity engineering fundamentals, automation mindset and ability to learn that matter most.
  • ● Experience with scripting and automation using technologies such as PowerShell, Python, APIs, Power Automate or Logic Apps.
