IT Operations Coordinator

The IT Operations Coordinator ensures reliable, high-quality IT services by coordinating between staff, the service desk, infrastructure teams and external vendors. Responsibilities include frontline technical support, diagnostics for hardware and software issues, and ongoing ICT maintenance. The role also covers staff onboarding/offboarding, asset management, change control, and security/compliance activities, delivering proactive problem resolution and a productive, secure user environment. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Indigenous societies, cultures and issues affecting Indigenous Australians in business. Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online and understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN). Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and safe computing practices. Working knowledge of endpoint/device management (e.g. Intune, Autopilot, device provisioning and decommissioning). Excellent communication and customer service skills with experience supporting modern workplace environments (hybrid/remote users, device management, identity access). Ability to explain technical concepts in plain language. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, SaaS platforms and user access issues.
