About the Role

Cyber Security Specialist Are you passionate about cyber security and protecting critical infrastructure We are seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to play a key role in safeguarding enterprise IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments by ensuring security controls, access management, compliance, and incident response capabilities are effectively maintained and enhanced.

Responsibilities

  • ● Monitor and manage cyber security risks across IT and OT environments.
  • ● Collaborate with internal teams and external Security Operations Centre (SOC) providers to investigate and respond to security incidents.
  • ● Assess security systems, identify vulnerabilities, and implement remediation strategies.
  • ● Support governance, compliance, access management, and audit activities, including Joiner, Mover and Leaver (JML) processes.
  • ● Contribute to cyber security awareness initiatives, policies, standards, and business improvement projects.
  • ● Assist with security monitoring and governance of OT systems, including SCADA and CCTV environments.

Requirements

  • ● Proven experience in cyber security, security operations, or security engineering roles.
  • ● Strong knowledge of Essential Eight, NIST, ISO 27001, Zero Trust principles, and Azure security technologies.
  • ● Experience across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
  • ● Exposure to SIEM platforms, incident response, ITIL frameworks, and OT/SCADA environments.
  • ● Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • ● Relevant cyber security qualifications required; TOGAF or SABSA certifications are highly regarded.
