Responsibilities

• ● We are seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Technology team. Reporting to Senior Manager - Cyber Security , you'll help protect and strengthen Wesfarmers Health's cyber security landscape by designing, implementing and maintaining security solutions that safeguard our systems, infrastructure and information assets.
• ● Working across a diverse technology environment, you'll play a key role in embedding security-by-design principles, enhancing security operations, and ensuring we stay ahead of emerging cyber threats. This is an opportunity to work with modern technologies, influence security strategy, and make a meaningful impact across a large and evolving organisation
• ● Designing, implementing and maintaining security solutions across digital and enterprise environments
• ● Driving security engineering initiatives including SIEM, EDR, SASE, AI Guardrails, DLP and security automation
• ● Leading and supporting the ongoing cyber program with the enhancing vulnerability management, access management and incident response initiatives
• ● Partnering with technology teams to integrate security controls into applications, services, infrastructure and platforms

Requirements

• ● Minimum 7 years of experience in cyber security engineering or a related role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
• ● In-depth knowledge of security technologies, concepts, and practices
• ● Understanding of secure architecture principles and frameworks
• ● Experience in security incident detection, response, and investigation
• ● Familiarity with security risk management methodologies and frameworks
• ● Proficient in conducting security assessments, audits, and consulting
• ● Ability to maintain a close watch on external cyber security threats and developments relative to the healthcare and retail industries
• ● Relevant certifications desirable
• ● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
