About the Company

We're looking for an experienced Configuration Analyst to support the uplift and ongoing maturity of a large enterprise ServiceNow CMDB environment. This is a hands-on role focused on CMDB data quality, governance, remediation and accountability , working closely with technology teams, service owners, asset managers and ITOM specialists. You'll be joining a structured, enterprise environment where Configuration Management plays a critical role in operational performance, governance and technology risk.

Responsibilities

  • ● Drive CMDB data quality initiatives, identifying and remediating accuracy and completeness issues
  • ● Establish clear CI ownership, governance and accountability across technology teams
  • ● Define, monitor and report on CMDB health metrics and KPIs
  • ● Develop dashboards and reporting around CMDB health, compliance and asset management
  • ● Implement certification and attestation processes to maintain data integrity
  • ● Educate stakeholders on Configuration Management best practice and RACI responsibilities
  • ● Work closely with ITOM teams to investigate Discovery issues and improve CMDB data quality
  • ● Support commissioning and decommissioning processes across the asset lifecycle
  • ● Ensure Configuration Management standards, controls and governance requirements are maintained

Requirements

  • ● Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB
  • ● Solid understanding of ITIL and Configuration Management / SACM principles
  • ● Experience with CMDB governance, data remediation and data quality improvement
  • ● Strong knowledge of CI ownership, controls and governance frameworks
  • ● Experience developing dashboards, reporting, KPIs and performance metrics
  • ● ServiceNow ITOM / Discovery experience
  • ● Asset lifecycle management experience
  • ● Large-scale CMDB uplift or transformation programs
  • ● Governance, risk and compliance exposure
  • ● Experience within financial services, payments or another regulated environment
