BEUMER Group is seeking an experienced and hands-on IT Manager (ANZ) to lead our Information Technology function across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to a senior business leader and working closely with our Global IT teams, this role will take ownership of local technology operations, business systems, cybersecurity coordination, user access management, infrastructure and end-user support. The role will lead our IT Administrator while remaining actively involved in hands-on technical support and day-to-day IT operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business in a newly created role, leading the IT function across Australia and New Zealand. You will play a key role in ensuring secure and reliable technology services, effective management of infrastructure and business systems, strong alignment with BEUMER Group's global IT environment, and the delivery of technology solutions that support future business growth. The role leads the ANZ IT function and serves as the primary link between local operations and Global IT. Building trusted relationships with leaders and employees across Australia and New Zealand. Providing reliable, responsive and business-focused IT support. Successfully leading and developing the IT Administrator. Acting as an effective bridge between ANZ operations and Global IT teams. Responsibilities
- ● Lead and manage the Information Technology function across Australia and New Zealand.
- ● Provide leadership, coaching and support to the IT Administrator.
- ● Act as the primary point of contact between local stakeholders and BEUMER Group Global IT.
- ● Manage day-to-day IT operations including helpdesk support, end-user services and technology infrastructure.
- ● Oversee employee onboarding, offboarding and user access management.
- ● Provide hands-on support for laptops, mobile devices, Microsoft 365 and workplace technologies.
- ● Coordinate cybersecurity initiatives and ensure compliance with IT security requirements.
- ● Manage internet, telecommunications, networking and office technology services.
- ● Support business systems, collaboration platforms and enterprise applications.
- ● Lead local technology projects, upgrades, migrations and system improvements.
- ● Manage IT assets, software licensing and vendor relationships.
- ● Maintain IT policies, procedures, documentation and support materials.
- ● Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- ● Produce reporting, analyse trends and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- ● Partner with business leaders to understand technology requirements and support organisational growth.
Requirements
- ● 5+ years' experience in IT operations, infrastructure, systems administration, service delivery or technical support within a business environment.
- ● Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, user access management, endpoint devices, networking and business systems.
- ● Experience managing IT vendors, telecommunications providers and third-party support partners.
- ● A proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements to systems, infrastructure and user experience.
- ● Experience supporting employees across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, access management and offboarding.
- ● Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to remain hands-on when required.
- ● The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- ● Experience leading, mentoring or coordinating technical resources or support providers.
- ● Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems or a related discipline.
- ● Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or similar business-critical applications.
- ● Experience supporting SharePoint, intranet platforms and digital workplace solutions.
- ● Microsoft, Azure, Intune, ITIL or Cyber Security certifications.
- ● Experience working within a multinational or global IT environment.
- ● Exposure to engineering, manufacturing, logistics, automation or project-based businesses.
- ● Experience managing IT budgets, contracts and technology roadmaps.
- ● Knowledge of AI-enabled technologies and their practical application in the workplace.
