About the Company

Based in Mackay and with locations situated in both NSW and QLD, our growing organization is seeking a highly motivated person to join our team as a Sales Engineer. Combining your technical knowledge with your sales skills, you will provide advice and support on our expanding range of products and services. Travel throughout NSW and QLD, in particular visits to the states mining basins, will be an essential part of this role. Role Identify and develop new business opportunities within the mining, transport and industrial sectors Research & develop new lines of target market products Identify, implement and develop new product supply chains both in Australia and abroad Manage ongoing customer and supplier relationships Candidate Requirements Experience in sales, preferably within the mining, transport and industrial sectors Engineering understanding, including but not limited to the ability to read and disseminate relevant technical information Experience with AutoCAD or similar drawing package Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and time management skills Very strong attention to detail Excellent customer service skills Demonstrate strong team attributes Remuneration package, organisational and job description details will be communicated upon acceptance of your application. About the Role

As a DTSE, you'll help to guide the company to explore new opportunities, working with partners on technical collaboration and innovation including cloud-based services. You will also conduct technical empowerment training and provide technical support for key developers, including enterprise developers. Moreover, you will engage in technology evangelism for universities and individual developers, and facilitate collaboration on talent cultivation. Insight into industry technology development trends and provide valuable suggestions for product development, especially in the AI field. The daily work will also involve solutions development, support the partners do the integration with Huawei cloud, technical writing and sharing experiences in the community. Our teams are located in Malaysia, and you will have the opportunity to communicate with the best technical talent from each country.

Responsibilities

  • ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute business initiatives, develop work plans, lead analysis and develop, and communicate final recommendations.
  • ● Establish relationships with the local service providers and top industry partners to aggregate rich, high-quality local content and services.
  • ● Provide technical consultation and integration support for CPs/developers of Huawei cloud products to ensure successful product rollout and business success.
  • ● Conduct technical empowerment training and providing technical support for key developers, such as enterprise developers.
  • ● Participate in developer events (online/offline) for the service promotions in the Global markets, and promote and guide developers to use cloud products.
  • ● Engage in technology evangelism for universities and individual developers, and facilitate collaboration on talent cultivation.
  • ● Leverage data and insights to understand our customers and funnel in depth, identify business opportunities, developing technical documents, best practice cases, and FAQs.
  • ● Collaborate with HQ product teams, enhance the user experience and optimize functions, architecture, performance, bugs, and UX of the product (including code level).

Requirements

  • ● Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Telecommunications or equivalent experience related to Information Technology, with relevant work experience in cloud services are preferred.
  • ● Good understanding of cloud consumption trends, needs, and expectations.
  • ● Familiar with local cloud market, and developer companies, services, and products.
  • ● Highly motivated with the ability to thrive in a fluid, demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • ● English can be used as working language with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • ● Good teamwork and proactive attitude.
  • ● Experience in Digital Transformation and Apps Modernization.
