About the Company

Based in Mackay and with locations situated in both NSW and QLD, our growing organization is seeking a highly motivated person to join our team as a Sales Engineer. Combining your technical knowledge with your sales skills, you will provide advice and support on our expanding range of products and services. Travel throughout NSW and QLD, in particular visits to the states mining basins, will be an essential part of this role. Role Identify and develop new business opportunities within the mining, transport and industrial sectors Research & develop new lines of target market products Identify, implement and develop new product supply chains both in Australia and abroad Manage ongoing customer and supplier relationships Candidate Requirements Experience in sales, preferably within the mining, transport and industrial sectors Engineering understanding, including but not limited to the ability to read and disseminate relevant technical information Experience with AutoCAD or similar drawing package Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and time management skills Very strong attention to detail Excellent customer service skills Demonstrate strong team attributes Remuneration package, organisational and job description details will be communicated upon acceptance of your application. About the Role

Provide technical support for customers, such as technical communication, fault locating and demarcation, drill solution output, and other technical support. Fully cooperate with Huawei Cloud teams to provide special benefits for enterprise-level support programs based on customer satisfaction and service stability, output best practices, and proactively improve and plan special services based on customer pain points.

Responsibilities

  • ● Provide technical support for customers, such as technical communication, fault locating and demarcation, drill solution output, and other technical support.
  • ● Fully cooperate with Huawei Cloud teams to provide special benefits for enterprise-level support programs based on customer satisfaction and service stability, output best practices, and proactively improve and plan special services based on customer pain points.
  • ● Communicate with customers about service solutions and availability risks.
  • ● Quickly handle customer complaints and obtain customer support and recognition.
  • ● Communicate with customers' executives.
  • ● Practice customer first in daily service, and achieve customer success.
  • ● Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and security.
  • ● Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure system availability and performance.
  • ● Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud environments.
  • ● Provide support and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure issues.
  • ● Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to resolve technical challenges.

Requirements

  • ● Have excellent communication skills.
  • ● Have experience in corporate level projects and experience in driving cross-department complex project implementation is preferred.
  • ● Have a sense of responsibility.
  • ● Have strong pressure resistance and execution ability and be able to accept certain frequency of travel.
  • ● Have extensive experience with cloud platforms including setting up, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure.
  • ● Have experience in cloud computing projects or at least 5 years customer service experience is preferred.
  • ● Have proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining both cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • ● Have strong understanding and hands-on experience with networking concepts in cloud environments, including VPCs, subnets, routing, load balancers, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • ● Have experience implementing and managing security best practices in network design, including secure connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
  • ● Be familiar with at least one script language, such as Python, Shell, and PHP.
  • ● Have a PMP certificate for project management or HCIX certificate for Huawei Cloud services is preferred.
