About the Company

Based in Mackay and with locations situated in both NSW and QLD, our growing organization is seeking a highly motivated person to join our team as a Sales Engineer. Combining your technical knowledge with your sales skills, you will provide advice and support on our expanding range of products and services. Travel throughout NSW and QLD, in particular visits to the states mining basins, will be an essential part of this role. Role Identify and develop new business opportunities within the mining, transport and industrial sectors Research & develop new lines of target market products Identify, implement and develop new product supply chains both in Australia and abroad Manage ongoing customer and supplier relationships Candidate Requirements Experience in sales, preferably within the mining, transport and industrial sectors Engineering understanding, including but not limited to the ability to read and disseminate relevant technical information Experience with AutoCAD or similar drawing package Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and time management skills Very strong attention to detail Excellent customer service skills Demonstrate strong team attributes Remuneration package, organisational and job description details will be communicated upon acceptance of your application. Responsibilities

  • ● Manage the system management units, including servers, networks, infrastructure, IT operations, endpoint management, and cybersecurity.
  • ● Delegate IT tickets and requests among team members, ensuring follow-through and timely resolution.
  • ● Monitor and maintain up-to-date information regarding IT inventory for efficient deployment and installation.
  • ● Develop and propose capacity management plans to prevent business disruptions and ensure smooth operations.
  • ● Research emerging business technologies and IT software to enhance the organization's IT systems.
  • ● Develop IT policies and procedures to comply with group and audit/ISO requirements.
  • ● Safeguard data and information assets by identifying and addressing potential and actual security issues.
  • ● Develop and enhance the organization's risk management framework.

Requirements

  • ● Diploma/Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject.
  • ● 2-4 years proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows/UNIX/Linux based environment and network security (router, firewall, clouds and etc).
  • ● Experience in Cloud Solutions, virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box etc).
  • ● Solid knowledge and skills in network, server platform and cyber security.
  • ● Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing IT Helpdesk and IT Operations best practices, network operations, cyber security operations.
  • ● Strong in teamwork and ability to interact with all levels.
