Responsibilities
- ● Work with clients to communicate project status and proposals
- ● Coordinate system development tasks to include design, integration and formal testing
- ● Install and configure hardware and software, implement, provide warranty and support activities
- ● Monitor the performance of systems and continually assess all stages of operations to ensure structural integrity and that a problem is solved
- ● Oversee all transitions into production by testing, analysis, and retesting for glitch detection and other issues
- ● Develop and complete actions in system specifications, technical and logistical requirements and other disciplines
- ● Create and maintain programmatic and technical documentation to ensure efficient planning and execution
Requirements
- ● Have a minimum Nitec, Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia & Information Technology, Infocomm Security Management, Computer Engineering qualifications
- ● Have basic knowledge of TCP/IP, IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, DNS and DHCP
- ● Have basic knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems, including system administration
- ● Have basic knowledge of servers, storage, virtualisation, cloud computing and backup solutions
- ● Have good technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- ● Have a basic understanding of cybersecurity, access control, system hardening and patch management
- ● Be able to prepare and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, implementation procedures and test reports
- ● Be willing to learn new technologies and obtain relevant professional certifications
- ● Have prior experience working in a data centre environment (added advantage)
