Responsibilities

• ● Assist Team Lead in grant strategy and programme design.
• ● Co-Lead the design and implementation of grant programmes, including funding frameworks, thematic priorities, and evaluation approaches aligned with national cybersecurity objectives.
• ● Enforce and maintain strong policies, procedures, and controls to ensure transparency, compliance, and accountability in grant administration.
• ● Assist Team Lead to oversee proposal evaluation processes, working with expert panels to ensure fair, rigorous, and strategic selection of projects with strong innovation and translation potential.
• ● Build and manage partnerships across universities, research institutes, industry, and government agencies to drive collaboration and alignment.
• ● Manage grant budgets and funding allocation, ensuring effective utilisation of resources and adherence to financial and audit requirements.
• ● Oversee project performance, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and outcomes are achieved, with a focus on real-world cybersecurity impact.
• ● Continuously enhance grant frameworks and processes through data-driven insights, stakeholder feedback, and benchmarking against global best practices.
• ● Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, fostering a high-performance culture and strong collaboration across functions.

Requirements

• ● At least a degree in a relevant field (e.g., business management, project management, cybersecurity, engineering, computer science, public policy, or related disciplines).
• ● At least 3 years of relevant experience in grant management, research administration, project or programme management.
• ● Good understanding of research and innovation ecosystems, preferably in cybersecurity or deep technology domains.
• ● Proven experience in designing and managing funding programmes or large-scale initiatives.
• ● Good stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging across academia, industry, and government.
• ● Demonstrated experience in complex projects.
• ● Prior experience in coordination of internal review, approval, and submission processes.
• ● Good analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
• ● Experience in public sector or national-level R&D programmes (Good-to-Have).
• ● Familiarity with research translation, commercialisation, or innovation ecosystems (Good-to-Have).
• ● Knowledge of financial governance, audit processes, and compliance frameworks (Good-to-Have).
• ● Established network within the cybersecurity or technology community (Good-to-Have).
