Finance & Accounts Executive / Accountant (AP & GL)

About the Company

Responsibilities

• ● Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, journal entries and invoice processing.
• ● Process AP invoices and payments accurately and timely through SAP / SAP Hana, ensuring proper documentation and accounting records.
• ● Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations and preparation of audit schedules.
• ● Monitor AP balances, GRIR and payment status, and liaise with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve payment-related queries.
• ● Perform bank, inventory and accounts payable reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• ● Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, cash flow reports and management reporting.
• ● Support the preparation of GST returns, tax computations and relevant tax schedules.
• ● Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting activities.
• ● Maintain and administer the Fixed Asset Register and other accounting records.
• ● Assist with intercompany accounting and transfer pricing documentation.
• ● Monitor and update monthly foreign exchange rates and perform other related accounting adjustments.
• ● Support billing, collection and other finance-related activities when required.
• ● Assist with audit, statutory and compliance matters, including preparation of supporting schedules and documentation.
• ● Participate in finance process improvement, system testing and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
• ● Perform other finance and accounting duties as required.

Requirements

• ● Min Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy/ Accountancy/ Finance/ CPA / ACCA or its equivalents
• ● Relevant accounting experience in AP/ GL
• ● Experience with SAP Hana/ ERP is advantageous.
