About the Company

Initial contract until 30/06/2027 1000 - 1100 per day plus super Hybrid work arrangements As a Cyber Security Change Lead, you will drive organisational adoption of high-priority cyber security initiatives across the organisation. This role will translate complex cyber security requirements into practical, user-focused change strategies that enable schools, educators, corporate teams and ICT professionals to adopt stronger security practices with minimal disruption. You will play a key role in supporting the Organisation's cyber security uplift agenda, including the adoption of ASD Essential Eight controls, while building sustainable cyber hygiene and operational governance across a diverse and decentralised environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver change strategies, communication plans and adoption activities that support the successful implementation of cyber security initiatives across schools and corporate environments.
  • Lead change activities supporting key ASD Essential Eight controls, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), restricting administrative privileges, patching and application control.
  • Identify operational impacts, stakeholder readiness, resistance and workflow disruptions, developing practical mitigation strategies to support successful implementation.
  • Partner with ICT delivery teams, school leaders, educators, corporate personnel and technical stakeholders to translate complex security requirements into clear, accessible and actionable guidance.
  • Establish sustainable cyber security practices, measure adoption and readiness, monitor risks and support the transition from project delivery into ongoing business-as-usual operations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated senior-level experience developing and delivering organisational change strategies for complex technology, cyber security or transformation programs.
  • Strong working knowledge of cyber security governance and the ASD Essential Eight, including maturity levels and key controls such as MFA, patching, application control and privileged access management.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders across technical, corporate and educational environments.
  • Strong analytical capability to assess organisational readiness, identify operational risks and resistance, and develop targeted interventions that support successful adoption.
  • Experience delivering large-scale technology adoption, cyber security uplift or organisational change initiatives within complex government, public sector or enterprise environments.
