About the Role

GRC & Governance: Maintain project documentation, artefacts, risk and issue registers within GRC platforms. Support governance, compliance and reporting requirements. IT Steering Committee & Reporting: Coordinate IT Steering Committee meetings, agendas and papers. Track actions and ensure decisions are followed through. Prepare & present project & technology reporting to senior/C-suite stakeholders. Project & Budget Management: Track project budgets, expenditure and forecasts. Support procurement, POs, invoicing and vendor coordination. Track project KPIs, risks, milestones and deliverables. Co-Ordinate current projects in On-Prem & a 3.5m regulatory Payments initiative Problem Solving & Initiative: Work independently as the key project coordination resource within a small IT team. Identify issues, research solutions and take ownership before escalating. Manage competing priorities and keep projects moving. Technical Coordination: Coordinate across infrastructure, cloud, cyber security and technology initiatives. Understand the fundamentals of IT infrastructure, servers, Azure, networking and security. Work confidently with technical teams without needing to be hands-on.

Requirements

  • Experience in an IT Coordinator, IT Project Coordinator / similar role.
  • Industry Experience in 1 of these 3: Banking, payments, financial services or another regulated environment. Technology or Consulting.
  • Those who come from a Technical background and now in projects would be highly regarded OR you must be sitting in an IT Department, Co-Ordinating IT Projects.
  • Strong GRC, reporting and governance experience.
  • Comfortable presenting to senior and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting Steering Committees and managing actions.
  • Understanding of project budgets and financial tracking.
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to work independently.
  • Strong technical understanding with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
