Responsibilities
- ● Responsible for local and overseas purchase of Indirect material and MRO items, maintaining and streamlining qualified suppliers, negotiations and cost savings.
- ● Plan, source and purchase materials, product, supplies, and equipment.
- ● Obtain quotations and bids, analyze, and make recommendations.
- ● Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal customers.
- ● Build and maintain productive company/supplier relationships.
- ● Promote purchasing department goals and philosophies.
- ● Work closely with Internal Customers for accurate planning and maximizing production capacity.
- ● Oversee project at a profitable level.
- ● Control inventory at a minimum or acceptable level.
- ● Expedite material in order to fulfill production requirements.
- ● Prepare reports.
- ● Coordinate material transfer for new projects.
Requirements
- ● Prefer 3-5 years of working experience
- ● Degree in supply chain/business management or equivalent
- ● Strong communication skills
- ● Strong multi-tasking, organization, attention to detail and follow-up skills
- ● Knowledge of MRO and IDM procurement practices, terms, negotiation concepts, and business law
- ● Strong PC skills, spreadsheets, file transfers and data manipulation
