Responsibilities

  • ● Prepare materials for presentation to the Operational Risk Management Committee.
  • ● Review reported operational risk incidents according to the Group Operational Risk Management Framework, identifying root causes and lessons learned to prevent recurrence.
  • ● Review outsourcing assessments for onboarding new vendors and conduct periodic reviews for existing vendors in line with Vendor Management Guidelines.
  • ● Assist in annual Business Continuity Plan testing, including tabletop exercises and full-scale drills, following MAS BCM guidelines.
  • ● Support Risk and Control Self Assessment workshops by engaging business lines/functions on selected end-to-end processes.
  • ● Document learnings from RCSA workshops and propose action items.
  • ● Review and enhance RCSA process maps when there are changes to key processes, risk assessment ratings, or controls.
  • ● Assist business lines/functions in developing a Material Risk Inventory to capture key risk indicators for early detection of increasing risk exposure.

Requirements

  • ● Completed or pursuing a university degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • ● Keen interest in risk management.
  • ● Strong analytical skills.
  • ● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • ● Excellent research, writing, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • ● Strong problem solving skills with attention to detail and meticulous document handling.
  • ● Ability to work as a team player, multitask, demonstrate initiative, and meet tight timeframes.
