Process Engineer

Responsibilities

  • ● Assist in raw material component sourcing and vendor development
  • ● Deal with vendors on defect analysis and corrective action validation at the initial stage of new program launch
  • ● Maintain and generate control plans, PFMEA, and PFD for existing and new programs
  • ● Access process capability after modification, upgrading, and installation of mould or equipment
  • ● Perform defect analysis and develop corrective actions for in-process and customer defects
  • ● Develop and maintain parameters of test automation, moulding parameters, and e-dart systems
  • ● Develop new processes for NPI
  • ● Monitor, improve, and troubleshoot existing processes
  • ● Conduct trial runs and qualify new tools and machines
  • ● Perform other duties assigned by the Section Head from time to time

Requirements

  • ● Have tertiary education in Science, Mechanical, Engineering, Material, or Manufacturing
  • ● Be able to supervise and implement new projects
  • ● Have good report writing, analytical, and communication skills
  • ● Be able to manage a group of people
  • ● Have a minimum of 3 years of experience if with a lower qualification
  • ● Have good analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • ● Be computer literate
  • ● Be able to manage various manufacturing processes, including but not limited to moulding process, vision system, ultrasonic welding, and resistance welding
