Responsibilities

  • ● Execute purchase orders for direct materials, production-related components and indirect purchases such as office supplies and services.
  • ● Monitor, coordinate and expedite deliveries to support production schedules and minimise supply disruption.
  • ● Liaise closely with internal departments and suppliers to resolve discrepancies, quality concerns and purchase-related matters promptly.
  • ● Support the Sales team in obtaining cost-effective pricing and sourcing suitable materials or services.
  • ● Coordinate local and international shipment arrangements, including freight quotations, shipment tracking and customs documentation.
  • ● Conduct quarterly supplier performance evaluations with the QA team, covering vendor quality, reliability and delivery performance.
  • ● Maintain accurate purchasing records and support other procurement-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • ● Diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • ● At least 1 to 3 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably within a contract manufacturing environment.
  • ● Familiar with ERP systems and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • ● Strong coordination, organisation and multitasking skills.
  • ● Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • ● Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to communicate with existing Mandarin-speaking customers and suppliers on business correspondence, quotations, service updates and follow-ups.
