About the Company

Responsibilities

• ● Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime
• ● Diagnose technical faults and troubleshoot issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and procedures
• ● Install, repair, and service equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards
• ● Respond promptly to service calls and emergency requests from customers and internal stakeholders
• ● Maintain detailed records of all service activities, including parts used, time spent, and work completed
• ● Communicate effectively with customers to explain technical issues and solutions in a clear and professional manner
• ● Adhere to health and safety regulations and best practices whilst carrying out all technical work
• ● Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery and efficiency
• ● Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritise workload and meet service level agreements

Requirements

• ● A relevant technical qualification or certification in a related trade or technical field (such as electrical, mechanical, or electronics)
• ● Proven experience working as a technician or in a similar hands-on technical role, ideally in the trades and services sector
• ● Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently
• ● Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment relevant to the industry
• ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
• ● A commitment to health and safety standards and adherence to workplace regulations
• ● Physical ability to perform the demands of the role, including lifting, climbing, and working at heights where applicable
• ● Reliability, punctuality, and a professional approach to customer service
• ● A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to different locations for service calls
• ● Experience with computerised maintenance management systems or similar software is advantageous
