Responsibilities
- ● Set up and operate precision plastic injection moulding machines, moulds, and auxiliary equipment.
- ● Monitor and optimize moulding parameters to ensure product quality and production efficiency.
- ● Troubleshoot moulding defects such as flash, sink marks, warpage, burns, and voids.
- ● Perform machine changeovers, mould installation, and process adjustments.
- ● Operate and support automated systems, including robotic sprue pickers and vision inspection equipment.
- ● Conduct routine mould cleaning, maintenance, and preventive care to maximize tooling lifespan.
- ● Maintain production records and ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
- ● Collaborate with production and engineering teams to achieve productivity and quality targets.
Requirements
- ● Minimum Nitec in Precision Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- ● No experience required as training will be provided.
