Responsibilities

  • ● Set up and operate precision plastic injection moulding machines, moulds, and auxiliary equipment.
  • ● Monitor and optimize moulding parameters to ensure product quality and production efficiency.
  • ● Troubleshoot moulding defects such as flash, sink marks, warpage, burns, and voids.
  • ● Perform machine changeovers, mould installation, and process adjustments.
  • ● Operate and support automated systems, including robotic sprue pickers and vision inspection equipment.
  • ● Conduct routine mould cleaning, maintenance, and preventive care to maximize tooling lifespan.
  • ● Maintain production records and ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
  • ● Collaborate with production and engineering teams to achieve productivity and quality targets.

Requirements

  • ● Minimum Nitec in Precision Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • ● No experience required as training will be provided.
