Responsibilities

  • ● Perform receiving, picking, packing, sorting, and dispatching of goods.
  • ● Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments safely.
  • ● Maintain good housekeeping and keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
  • ● Assist in monitoring warehouse space utilization and layout.
  • ● Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) or inventory software to update stock movements.
  • ● Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
  • ● Ensure proper stock rotation methods (FIFO/FEFO) are followed.
  • ● Investigate inventory discrepancies and support corrective actions.
  • ● Prepare inventory reports when required.
  • ● Verify accuracy of delivery orders, invoices, and shipping documents.
  • ● Update system records for incoming and outgoing goods.
  • ● Generate labels, pick lists, packing lists, and inventory movement forms.
  • ● Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and efficiently.
  • ● Conduct basic daily checks on warehouse equipment.
  • ● Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and production teams on stock availability and movement.
  • ● Support logistics planning to ensure timely delivery and order fulfilment.
  • ● Escalate issues such as stock shortages, damaged goods, or shipment delays.
  • ● Unload, check, and record incoming goods against delivery orders.
  • ● Inspect items for damage or discrepancies and report issues to the supervisor.
  • ● Label, organize, and store goods in designated warehouse areas.
  • ● Ensure accuracy and proper packaging before dispatch.
  • ● Prepare goods for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
  • ● Assist in loading goods onto delivery vehicles safely.
  • ● Ensure walkways and storage areas are clear of obstructions.

Requirements

  • ● Minimum Nitec, or Diploma in Warehousing, logistics, supply chain management or related fields.
  • ● At least 1 year of warehouse experience is preferred.
  • ● Experience using WMS, barcode scanners, or inventory systems is an advantage.
  • ● Knowledge of basic warehouse management processes and inventory control.
  • ● Able to use WMS or warehouse-related software (training can be provided).
  • ● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • ● Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • ● Physically fit to perform warehouse tasks.
  • ● Forklift license is an added advantage.
  • ● Able to work overtime or shifts when needed.
