About the Company

We are a fast-growing Singapore-based food-tech company building automated food solutions that make fresh, quality meals more accessible, consistent, and scalable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end procurement strategy across ingredients, OEM partners, packaging, equipment-related supplies, and operational purchasing.
  • Source and evaluate regional suppliers across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Indonesia, and other relevant markets.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQs, lead times, exclusivity, rebates, and long-term supply agreements.
  • Build a reliable supplier base with clear qualification standards, backup suppliers, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Work closely with Operations, Central Kitchen, Product, Finance, and Management to forecast demand and ensure supply continuity.
  • Drive cost savings without compromising quality, food safety, reliability, or customer experience.
  • Develop procurement SOPs, approval workflows, supplier scorecards, and contract management processes.
  • Oversee OEM sourcing for food products, components, machinery-related inputs, or outsourced production where relevant.
  • Monitor commodity trends, supplier risks, logistics costs, and regional market movements.
  • Ensure all procurement activities are transparent, compliant, and free from conflicts of interest.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8-12 years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong regional sourcing experience in food ingredients, food manufacturing, central kitchen supply, FMCG, OEM production, packaging, or equipment-related procurement.
  • Proven network of suppliers or OEMs across Southeast Asia and/or China.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of reducing costs and improving supplier terms.
  • Good understanding of food safety, quality control, import requirements, supplier audits, and operational risk.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with limited bureaucracy.
  • Strong Excel / data analysis skills for cost comparison, landed-cost analysis, and supplier performance tracking.
  • High integrity and strong governance mindset; must be comfortable operating under strict confidentiality and anti-conflict standards.
