Responsibilities

  • ● Handle the full set of accounts for multiple entities.
  • ● Ensure accurate and timely month end and year end close processes, including processing journal entries, bank reconciliations, fixed asset schedules, and intercompany transactions.
  • ● Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for assigned entities.
  • ● Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • ● Prepare tax filings such as GST/VAT and income tax, ensuring timely submission.
  • ● Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • ● Review expenses to ensure payments are properly approved according to company policies.
  • ● Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • ● Liaise with internal and external parties such as banks, legal, and corporate secretaries.
  • ● Maintain and organize financial records and documentation.
  • ● Perform other duties as assigned, including process improvement and optimization projects, and participate in implementing and enhancing the ERP system and other group wide projects.

Requirements

  • ● Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • ● At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • ● Experience in e commerce platforms, investment companies, or fund management environments is highly advantageous.
  • ● Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards such as IFRS and FRS.
  • ● Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar.
  • ● Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables.
  • ● High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • ● Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
  • ● Good organizational and time management skills.
  • ● Strong communication skills.
  • ● Good command of Chinese/Mandarin, both written and verbal, to communicate with the finance team in China.
  • ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
