About the Company

Responsibilities

• ● Review journal entries and work of junior executives to ensure accuracy.
• ● Train and mentor junior accounting staff.
• ● Delegate tasks and provide guidance to team members.
• ● Prepare and analyze complex financial reports, statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and summaries.
• ● Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• ● Produce error-free accounting reports and present results to management.
• ● Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
• ● Investigate and resolve discrepancies and non-compliance issues.
• ● Assist with internal and external financial and tax audits.
• ● Document and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• ● Assist in the preparation and monitoring of departmental, project, and organizational budgets.
• ● Prepare revenue projections and forecast expenditures.
• ● Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
• ● Analyze financial information to summarize financial status and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• ● Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
• ● Identify opportunities for operational and financial efficiency.
• ● Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
• ● Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounting systems and workflow to streamline processes.
• ● Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Requirements

• ● Have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• ● Have 5+ years of experience in the accounting field, with a preference for those who've navigated the automotive sector.
• ● Be a tech-savvy navigator, proficient in the latest accounting software and MS Office.
• ● Have expertise in accounting principles and regulations, with the ability to apply them at high speeds.
• ● Have strategic vision with the analytical skills to dodge financial potholes.
• ● Have leadership qualities that inspire and accelerate team performance.
• ● Be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• ● Be proactive, exercise flexibility, able to multi-task and work independently.
• ● Enjoy working with people and thrive in team environment in a fast-paced environment.
• ● Be fluent in written and spoken English.
• ● Have a high level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
