  • Supply Chain Ops Lead Description - Job Summary This role is to support the HP Additive Manufacturing (3D) business in Operations to manufacture and to deliver customer shipment products meeting product performance, costs and quality for business revenue capture. The successful candidate will manage both Turnkey (TK) and Guided Turnkey (GTK) parts/commodity to support manufacturing partner hardware factory production requirements for both NPI and Current Product/Service Spares for Polymer and Metal businesses. The role involves collaborating/driving partner factory Supply Chain team and internal Printer Procurement team on factory build materials availability (AOS), influence GBU R&D/Ops team and other stakeholders to deliver to other Operation goals and priorities successfully. The role involves opportunity to lead project teams and contributing to the realization of operational and strategic objectives. Responsibilities
  • Support new 3D NPI printer product industrialization activities on timely parts availability under accelerated time-to-market schedules to meet program and business needs
  • Support 3D Current Product business for Printer/Accessories/Service/LTC on factory parts availability for production requirements
  • Drive/influence GBU and support partners to resolve parts specs issues timely for production
  • Act as focal/escalation point for internal and external MPa (Manufacturing Partner) factory on overall materials AOS effort
  • Manage/enforce accountability on respective parts/commodity owners to effectively resolve factory materials AOS issue to sustain production 100% uptime meeting shipment requirements
  • Collaborates with internal Printer Procurement team on GTK parts/commodity owners for support to quickly resolve AOS/quality issues
  • Manage/drive Mpa Supply Chain team on TK parts/commodity AOS/quality issues timely resolution
  • Sensitive to supply chain costs, effective drive stakeholders constantly for lower cost or mitigation effort for headwinds
  • Sensitive to HP liable factory materials inventory. Constantly review and managing down factory materials inventory level through strategic MOQ adjustment, proposal and other strategic/tactical purchasing approach/options throughput production life cycle
  • Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and external partners on Supply Chain related initiatives/priorities for Operations improvement
  • Contribute to overall Ops & factory performance metrics on Costs, Quality and Delivery goals Education & Experience Recommended
  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in Supply Chain related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience. Cross-Org Skills
