Responsibilities

  • Translate the global SCM strategy and roadmap into a clear execution plan for the region, balancing global direction with local market needs.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing regional SCM organization, directly lead the team in Singapore and coach dotted-line teams across multiple countries and support building strong local capabilities.
  • Oversee end-to-end SCM for all organizations in the region, including order management, import & customs, logistics and warehouse management, 3PL coordination, inventory optimization, procurement, and supplier qualification.
  • Design and optimize the regional supply chain network, including the setup of a Middle East logistics hub, strategic inventory positioning and cross-border flow and service-level optimization.
  • Drive AI, digitalization and automation in SCM by identifying and deploying AI use cases and embedding them into daily operations in close collaboration with IT and global SCM.
  • Lead the regional SCM teams through the SAP R/3 to S/4HANA go-live, ensuring business readiness, robust testing, effective change management together with the global IT/project team.
  • Own SCM-related performance management and transparency by defining and managing regional KPIs, cost targets and service levels and by establishing dashboard-based performance reporting for regional and corporate management.
  • Initiate and lead multi-country SCM projects, such as Middle East hub design, automation deployment, cross-border optimization, S&OP enhancement and strategic inventory positioning, ensuring measurable impact on cost, service and resilience.
  • Act as a connector across the region, aligning sub-regional SCM activities, harmonizing standards and ways of working and strengthening collaboration between markets and with headquarters.
  • Ensure adherence to Environment, Health and Safety standards for the Singapore warehouse and foster a culture of safety and compliance across the regional SCM organization.
  • Be willing to undertake regional travel of approximately 20% to visit key markets, hubs and teams across the region.
