Responsibilities
- ● Develop and implement supply chain and procurement strategies
- ● Source, evaluate and manage suppliers and manufacturers
- ● Negotiate pricing, payment terms and supply agreements
- ● Coordinate production, quality, delivery and inventory planning
- ● Manage cross-border procurement, logistics and import/export processes
- ● Monitor and optimise procurement and supply chain costs
- ● Establish supplier evaluation and risk management procedures
- ● Conduct supplier visits and business negotiations when required
- ● Report supply chain performance to management
Requirements
- ● Senior-level experience in manufacturing, procurement or supply chain management
- ● Practical experience managing factories or supplier networks
- ● Familiar with supply chain and manufacturing resources in China and Asia
- ● Strong experience in procurement negotiation, cost control and quality management
- ● Knowledge of cross-border procurement and logistics processes
- ● Strong commercial negotiation and management skills
- ● Experience in managing or operating a manufacturing business is preferred
- ● Willing to travel overseas when required
