Responsibilities
- ● Oversee daily logistics operations and local transportation of all cargo types.
- ● Manage trucking arrangements, logistics workflows, expenditure and billing.
- ● Handle customer enquiries and resolve sales/delivery issues.
- ● Lead, coach and develop the operations team to achieve targets and KPIs.
- ● Optimise transport planning, manpower deployment and equipment utilisation.
- ● Manage fleet and equipment availability, maintenance and utilisation.
- ● Ensure compliance with company SOPs, transport regulations and safety standards.
- ● Prepare operational reports and provide performance updates to management.
Requirements
- ● Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
- ● Minimum 5-8 years of logistics operations experience.
- ● Minimum 2 years of team leadership/managerial experience.
- ● Strong knowledge of transport planning, fleet management and logistics operations.
- ● Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- ● Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- ● Experience with logistics/transport management systems will be an advantage.
