About the Company
The Client Account Executive is a key client-facing role responsible for developing strong, long-term and commercially successful relationships with iCatalyst clients. You will act as a trusted point of contact for clients seeking guidance on Microsoft Dynamics 365, ERP, CRM, Power Platform, AI, licensing, managed services and related business application needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building trusted relationships, understanding business challenges, working closely with delivery teams and helping clients make informed decisions about technology-led transformation. Our client base includes some of Australia's top companies across a range of industries and sizes, from high profile not-for-profits to large, ASX listed companies. Primarily responsible for WA based clients this role will also be responsible for managing clients across Australia and some travel may be required. Responsibilities
- ● Act as the primary relationship contact for key clients outside day-to-day support and consulting delivery.
- ● Represent the iCatalyst brand with professionalism, credibility and a strong customer-first mindset.
- ● Build trusted, long-term relationships with client stakeholders across operational, management and executive levels.
- ● Identify, qualify and manage new opportunities across projects, work orders, licensing, support and managed services.
- ● Prepare and coordinate Statements of Work, proposals and commercial documentation in consultation with delivery teams.
- ● Manage sales processes through to closure, ensuring timely and professional communication with clients.
- ● Plan and facilitate regular account management, support and relationship review meetings.
- ● Work with support, consulting and customer success teams to help ensure service expectations and SLAs are met.
- ● Act as an escalation point for out-of-scope requests, new requirements and commercial discussions.
- ● Maintain CRM records, client contacts, opportunity updates and account activity accurately and consistently.
- ● Provide client insights to support marketing, communications, customer success and business development initiatives.
- ● Contribute to revenue growth, profitability and client retention across the iCatalyst group.
Requirements
- ● You are a relationship-led, commercially astute account executive who understands that the best outcomes come from listening, consulting and solving real business problems. You are comfortable working with senior stakeholders, delivery teams and strategic partners, and you know how to balance customer value with commercial outcomes.
- ● At least five years' experience in a similar account executive, client relationship, sales or business development role within software, technology, consulting or professional services. Experienced candidates will also be considered to manage enterprise accounts - the focus is on recruiting the best candidate.
- ● A strong understanding of ERP, CRM, business applications or business process improvement, ideally within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
- ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with end users, managers, senior executives and boards.
- ● Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage opportunities, proposals and client discussions professionally.
- ● A consultative approach to sales, with a focus on creating value rather than simply selling products or services.
- ● Strong relationship-building skills and a reputation for professionalism, integrity and follow-through.
- ● Confidence working both autonomously and as part of a collaborative national team.
- ● A proactive, self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset.
- ● A natural curiosity about business, technology and how organisations can improve through better systems and processes.
- ● Tertiary qualifications are desirable but not essential.
