Senior Warehouse Operations Manager (3PL / Contract Logistics)

Responsibilities

  • ● Lead overall operations across 3 warehouse facilities, overseeing raw materials, inventory control and ship kits operations with approximately 200 employees.
  • ● Manage daily inbound receiving, put-away, kit processing and outbound fulfilment to local work centres and overseas plants while meeting productivity, quality and operational KPIs.
  • ● Oversee approximately S 600 million worth of customer inventory, including cycle counts, inventory integrity, scrap disposal and adherence to established SOPs and controls.
  • ● Drive customer engagement, staff development and continuous improvement projects involving workplace safety, automation, productivity, quality, cost optimisation, data analytics and process improvements.

Requirements

  • ● Minimum Diploma or Degree with at least 5 years of leadership experience in contract logistics; 3PL/4PL experience is preferred.
  • ● Proven experience managing large-scale warehouse operations and teams, with strong people leadership, communication and customer/stakeholder management skills.
  • ● Strong operational and project management capabilities, including KPI management, resource planning, cost control and continuous improvement.
  • ● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience using data analytics and visualisation to support operational decision-making.
  • ● Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
  • ● Experience handling high-value inventory within semiconductor, technology or similarly complex logistics environments is beneficial.
