Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align sourcing strategies, demand planning, pricing, and supply requirements with business objectives.
  • Provide market intelligence and commodity insights to support business planning, decision-making, innovation, and new product development initiatives.
  • Develop and execute category strategies to optimize cost, quality, value, and supply performance.
  • Lead supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and supplier performance reviews while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance standards.
  • Develop and maintain supplier partnerships to enhance supply continuity, collaboration, and communication.
  • Ensure supply continuity through effective forecasting, supplier collaboration, inventory management, and contingency planning.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain, market, quality, and operational risks to support business continuity.
  • Carry out suppliers' evaluation to ensure supplier compliance with company requirement in price, quality service and safety.
  • Drive procurement process excellence through effective governance, controls, systems.
  • Utilize data and analytics to monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support informed decision-making.
  • Identify and champion cost reduction projects, including periodic updates for management.
  • Monitor market trends and negotiate favorable material pricing to support cost objectives.
  • Promote responsible sourcing practices and supplier engagement to support sustainability and ESG objectives.
  • Drive environmental, social, and ethical sourcing initiatives across the supplier base in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Implement and abide by requirements set out in the Company's Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Management System, ISO and OHSAS standards and applicable legal and other requirements.
