Responsibilities
- ● Support the sourcing and procurement of materials, products, goods and services based on business requirements.
- ● Coordinate with local and overseas vendors on quotations, orders, deliveries and other procurement matters.
- ● Assist in evaluating suppliers and recommending suitable products and vendors based on quality, cost and availability.
- ● Monitor purchasing activities and follow up on outstanding orders to ensure timely delivery.
- ● Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement and supplier information in system.
- ● Assist in reviewing forecasts and usage projections to support inventory planning and replenishment.
- ● Coordinate with 3PL vendors on warehouse, delivery and logistics matters to ensure smooth operations.
- ● Monitor stock movements and investigate discrepancies where required.
- ● Conduct regular stock takes and inventory reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy.
- ● Follow up with relevant stakeholders and vendors on stock, delivery and logistics issues.
- ● Support the implementation and maintenance of quality control measures to ensure food quality and safety standards are adhered to.
- ● Coordinate laboratory testing based on planned schedules and ad-hoc requirements.
- ● Monitor and follow up on product quality, food safety and service feedback.
- ● Work with Operations and relevant stakeholders to address quality issues and implement improvements.
- ● Support new menu and ingredient development in collaboration with Operations, Culinary and other stakeholders.
- ● Assist in sourcing and evaluating new ingredients based on quality, cost, availability and suitability.
- ● Assist in product trials, evaluations and implementation of new menu items and ingredients.
- ● Work closely with Operations and Culinary teams to support the maintenance of product quality and food safety standards.
- ● Follow up on quality and service feedback and coordinate with relevant stakeholders on corrective actions.
Requirements
- ● Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Culinary, Food Science or a related discipline.
- ● Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, food quality or a similar capacity.
- ● Candidates with relevant F&B industry experience will have an advantage.
- ● Resourceful, proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- ● Willingness to travel regionally as required.
