Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance team in month-end closing activities, assisting with identifying and resolving discrepancies in material and product costing.
  • Ensure the accurate calculation and maintenance of standard and actual production costs for completed vehicles.
  • Maintain standard costing and material master data for all vehicle models in SAP Lean ERP.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date product pricing and costing for all vehicle models by preparing and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOM), covering materials, freight, logistics, and manufacturing cost while identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Manage and verify scrap and surplus materials at warehouses and local vendors by conducting document reviews and physical inspections, and collecting all necessary information to support the sale, disposal or recovery process.
  • Support the preparation and monitoring of material cost and capital investment budgets.
  • Participate in half-yearly and annual inventory stock counts.
  • Coordinate and support the implementation of Group Risk Management System (RMS) and Internal Control System (ICS) processes across business units by defining scope, guiding stakeholders through implementation of mitigating actions, and facilitating root cause analysis and lessons learned (RCA/LL) activities in accordance with established policies.
  • Provide ad hoc support to Finance & Controlling Team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP and Microsoft 365 suite, with strong capabilities in Excel-based financial modeling, reporting, data analysis and business intelligence tools.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS/MFRS), budgeting, and cost control principles
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience in Material Management
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in audit, costing, financial analysis, and planning role
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry is an advantage
