Responsibilities
- ● Review M&E drawings, shop drawings, material submissions, method statements and equipment data.
- ● Coordinate and control site works for plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, electrical, ELV and related equipment.
- ● Lead services coordination and clash reviews; resolve openings, embedded items, equipment bases and discipline interfaces.
- ● Track procurement, delivery, inspection and installation of equipment and materials against approved makes, specifications and programme.
- ● Support consultant inspections, WIRs, RFIs, testing and close-out of non-conformities.
- ● Coordinate equipment start-up, system commissioning, integrated testing, statutory inspections and user training.
- ● Compile O&M manuals, test reports, as-built drawings, spare-parts records and handover documents.
- ● Verify system capacities, equipment selections and interface requirements, raising technical clarifications and optimisation proposals.
- ● Coordinate T&C plans, authority inspections and defect rectification to achieve timely acceptance and handover.
Requirements
- ● Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
- ● Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant Malaysian engineering registration or professional qualification is an advantage.
- ● At least 3 years' building-services construction experience, with the ability to coordinate at least two M&E disciplines independently.
- ● Completed at least one project cycle covering builder's work, installation, commissioning and handover.
- ● Experience with Malaysian authority submissions and inspections for fire, power, water or sewerage systems is preferred.
- ● Familiar with Malaysian M&E standards, inspection and commissioning procedures; local authority submission experience is preferred.
- ● Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; Revit/BIM capability is an advantage.
- ● Valid CIDB construction personnel registration is required; regulated works and statutory sign-off must meet applicable Malaysian registration requirements.
- ● Able to review single-line diagrams, load schedules, equipment schedules, control schematics and coordinated services drawings.
- ● Familiar with testing and commissioning procedures, O&M manuals, training and handover requirements.
- ● Good English communication and technical-writing skills; Bahasa Malaysia or Chinese is an advantage.
- ● Able to prepare technical submissions, commissioning plans, RFIs, minutes and progress reports in English.
- ● Strong interface management, programme tracking and vendor coordination capability.
