Responsibilities
- ● Program and operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to perform accurate dimensional measurements and inspections
- ● Develop and maintain CMM inspection programmes based on drawing requirement
- ● Document and analyse inspection results, identifying trends and deviations from established specifications
- ● Prepare detailed quality reports and inspection documentation for internal records and customer requirements
- ● Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions when necessary
- ● Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance inspection processes and efficiency
- ● Train and mentor junior inspectors on quality procedures and CMM operation where applicable
Requirements
- ● Min 1 year experience operating and programming coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
- ● Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, inspection techniques, and quality control standards
- ● Proficiency with CMM software and related measurement technology
- ● Excellent understanding of technical drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- ● Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 is highly desirable
- ● Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under time pressures
- ● Good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify root causes of quality issue
