About the Company
We're looking for a Cyber Risk and Awareness Analyst to strengthen our cyber resilience and security culture. You'll be responsible for the delivery of the Cyber Strategy, coordinating cyber risk activities, and driving cybersecurity awareness across the organisation. This is an ongoing full time position based in Warrnambool, with a salary 102,449 to 114,238 p.a. plus superannuation.
Responsibilities
- ● Deliver cybersecurity training, awareness campaigns and phishing simulations to promote secure behaviours in the workplace.
- ● Conduct cyber risk assessments, identify control gaps, and work with stakeholders to implement practical risk mitigation strategies.
- ● Manage cybersecurity governance, compliance and control activities, adhering to regulatory requirements, internal policies and security standards.
- ● Report on cyber risks, controls and program performance, and provide insights into emerging risks and organisational cyber maturity.
- ● Partner with stakeholders to provide cybersecurity advice, assess new projects and technologies, and support informed, risk-based decision making.
Requirements
- ● A tertiary degree or certified qualification in technology, education or business, or substantial relevant experience in a similar role.
- ● Demonstrated experience in cyber security and awareness, risk management, and regulatory practices.
- ● Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver awareness initiatives and materials.
- ● The ability to engage different user groups to implement improvements to systems and processes.
- ● Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities, and a solution oriented mindset.
